La cultura INDIE deviene de la llamada música independiente, surgida en la década de los años ochenta. Es precisamente a partir del término "independent" que surge el concepto de "indie", abarcando a todas aquellas propuestas que se ubican fuera de los límites de lo sugerido por la cultura principal o mainstream.
Trabajamos entregas en formato de #drop, y no por temporadas, para los cuales nos inspiramos en música, épocas, décadas del streetwear y lugares en el mundo.
FREE PEOPLE / THE K-Drop & Augenblick son algunas de nuestras entregas. La década de los 70s (siempre presente en la marca, como sello); el estilo urbano asiático, la música y cultura alemana en los meses fríos, y la moda, sonidos y paisajes de Latinoamérica para los meses cálidos, fueron y son inspiración en #FTSL.
Creemos en la personalización de las prendas, y que cuando elijas FOR THE SUN LOVERS, estés vistiendo una pieza que no vayas a encontrar en todos lados. Por eso estampamos con diseños propios graphic tees y telas, previo confección.
Valoramos el trabajo artesanal, tanto por sus creadores como por la sensación visual y emotiva de llevar algo que fue confeccionado especialmente para vos, #handmade. Vas a encontrarlas destacadas en la sección #SlowFashion, moda lenta. En cada producto te vamos a contar sus especificaciones y tiempos que demora su creación.

INDIE culture originates from what was known as independent music, which emerged in the 1980s. From the term “independent” came the concept of “indie”, encompassing all creative proposals that exist outside the boundaries of what is suggested by mainstream culture.
We don’t work by seasons. Instead, we release our pieces in drops, inspired by music, eras, decades of streetwear, and places around the world.

The 1970s — always present in the brand as a signature — Asian urban style, German music and culture during the colder months, and the fashion, sounds, and landscapes of Latin America for warmer seasons have all been and continue to be sources of inspiration at #FTSL.
We believe in garment personalization, and in making sure that when you choose FOR THE SUN LOVERS, you’re wearing a piece you won’t find everywhere. That’s why we print our own graphic tees and fabrics with original designs, prior to production.
We value craftsmanship — both the people behind it and the visual and emotional experience of wearing something made especially for you.
